City of Little River: $4,000 for tennis court resurfacing

LRJSHS Music Department: $1,000 for new chorus uniforms
United Methodist Church: $1,000 for youth pizza parties
Little River Library: $1,000 for new books
Young Historical Library: $650 for computer purchase
Little River Community VBS: $500 for Vacation Bible School

Recipients of 2017 grants are:

Congregational Church: $500 for Vacation Bible School
City of Little River: $7,500 for sidewalk replacement
Little River Senior Center: $4,500 for a new door and stove
Little River Library: $1,000 for new books
Union Township: $7,500 for maintenance on Bean Cemetery
Little River Methodist Church: $3,000 for pizza parties for high school kids
Windom Elementary School: $2,500 for playground equipment
Little River High School: $2,000 for the FFA program
Little River High School: $5,000 for weight room equipment
Little River Daycare: $2,000 for new child care equipment
Sandstone Heights: $7,000 for new patient beds
The American Legion: $15,525 for a new heating and cooling system for their building

New Business: Grants awarded for the 2016 year were:
Little River Chamber of Commerce: $500 for their Fall Festival Celebration
City of Little River/Little River Development Group: $200,714 to go towards purchasing the building that houses the Garden of Eden and upgrading refrigeration system
United Methodist Church: $3,000 for pizza parties
Windom Elementary School: $2,500 for a field trip with members from the senior center to the theatre in Wichita
Little River Library: $1,000 for new books
Little River Development Group: $45,000 for a splash pad in the park
City of Little River: $5,000 for potential sidewalk improvements
USD 444: $2,500 to the Youth Entrepreneurship program
