4-H is an opportunity for youth ages 7-19 to learn more about their community, be a positive role model, teach others and explore interest areas that will offer ongoing learning. 4-H offers several projects for youth to be enrolled in. Beef, swine, sheep, shooting sports, foods and sewing are just a few to choose from. The county fair is a time to show the animals and display the items made from the projects. Participants in the county fair who meet the state requirements and receive a purple at county fair are eligible for Kansas State Fair.
The 4 h’s stand for: head, heart, health and hands.
Country Pals 4-H Club meets the second Sunday of each month at 4 pm at the Congregational Church. For additional information, contact the club leaders, Shayla Grasser or Holly Boltz.
